Job description:

The CAR-T Operations Supervisor is an exempt level position working within Technical Operations team, responsible for directing the daily production of a personalized cell therapy to support both clinical and commercial requirements in a sterile cGMP environment. Job duties will be performed within a team-based environment, on an assigned production shift schedule

You will work in the GMP Facility in Ghent and report to the Operational Manager, Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily production of personalized cell therapy in a sterile cGMP environment.

• Supervise multiple units within CAR-T process operations.

• Ensure safe and compliant manufacturing operations.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address production issues.

• Manage quality aspects and documentation related to production activities.

• Support tech transfer, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Lead daily start of shift operations meetings and assign tasks.

• Supervise training and development of production personnel.

• Monitor production-related expenses and support budget control.

• Ensure EHS and cGMP compliance in manufacturing operations.

Profile :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.

• Minimum 5 years of operations experience in cGMP or ATMP environment.

• At least 3 years of aseptic GMP manufacturing experience.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

• Flexibility to accommodate shift work including evenings and weekends.
